As of 1 July 2026, Medicare require consent to be obtained from patients who receive a bulk-billed service.
We are in the process of navigating the changes and how they will work, and you may receive an SMS requesting you to consent to your consult being bulk-billed in the interim. This is not a scam, and will come from our external secure provider HEALTHENGINE. We are hoping to streamline this as much as possible, to continue the same service we have always provided to our patients. We will keep you posted if there is any substantial changes to the process moving forward.
