Dr Murtuza Zirapuri (Male GP)
Qualifications - MBBS FRACGP

Dr Zirapuri Graduated in 1996 with more than 15 years’ experience in General Practice, born and raised in India he moved to Australia in 2005 where he has worked in the town of Gawler since moving.

In 1998 Dr Zirapuri worked in Mumbai where he completed his ultrasound training, having completed his fellowship in 2009. Dr Zirapuri has since completed Skin Cancer workshops and training, now performing procedures to remove small cancers and doing flap repairs from within the surgery.

Dr Zirapuri has a keen interest in Children's and Men's health, with a special interest in minor surgery and procedures.

Dr Zirapuri is well-known in the Gawler community for his regular work at the Gawler Health Service, including time in the Indigenous Health Clinic and also for his various work in the local Nursing homes.
 
Providing valuable care and building long term relationships with his patients is his primary motive. Dr Zirapuri is available Monday - Friday each week also working on a rotating roster for Saturdays.



Dr Fatima Syed (Female GP)
Qualifications - MBBS FRACGP

Dr Syed graduated with distinction from Dow Medical College (DMC) in 2000; DMC is one of the oldest public research university located in urban metropolitan area of Karachi, Pakistan.  After graduation, she completed internships at Civil Hospital Karachi, Pakistan (a 1,900-bed public hospital).  Dr Syed completed an internship in Internal medicine as well as Gynaecology & Obstetrics.  In 2001 Dr Syed moved to Kuwait where she was enrolled in Masters of Pathology program at Kuwait University. She Completed three semesters of MSC Pathology and then immigrated to Canada in 2002. Being inspired by her parents who were University professors in the UK and Pakistan, she started her teaching career as an Associate Professor at All Saints School of Medicine (ASUM) in 2006. She taught Pathology and Clinical medicine to 4th year medical students and helped them defining their medical career in the USA and Canada.  

To pursue her clinical career, she passed Medical Council of Canada and the United States medical licensing exams.  During her stay in Canada, she also volunteered for psychological counselling of new immigrants and refugees in Canada. In 2008, she was employed by the United States Department of Defence as a psychological SME and was deployed to Iraq with the US Army.  In this role, being in charge of the psychological support program, she provided mental health support to Iraqi prisoners of war/detainees and helped reintegrating them back into the society. She also completed externships at the US Army Combat hospitals and volunteered for The American Red cross. Between 2009 - 2012, she worked at a Family Physician office in Canada and continued teaching at ASUM.

In 2012, she was employed by Adelaide Metro Mental Health and since then she has been working in Australia as a mental health doctor and more recently with Springwood Family Medical as a GP. As a mental health doctor, she provided services to Modbury Hospital (Woodleigh House), NE Community Mental Health, Lyell McEwin Hospital and Northern Community Mental Health, Eastern Community Mental Health and covering afterhours psychiatry ED at Glenside Hospital and the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
 
Dr Syed joined Murray Street Medical in May 2016, her special interests include mental health, women's health and chronic disease management. She works Monday – Friday (alternating Thursdays) and on a rotating roster for Saturdays.

Dr Sudheer Talari (Male GP)
Qualifications - MBBS FRACGP

Dr Talari joined Murray Street Medical in mid 2017, previously working at Springwood Family Medical and CHG Elizabeth.
He has a special interest in Workcover cases and family health.

Dr Talari is currently working Thursday and Friday mornings from 8:30am – 2pm as well as on a rotating roster for Saturdays.



Dr Mohamed El Rakhawy (Male GP)
Qualifications - MBBch AMC MRCGP Grad.Cert.OH&S

Dr Rakhawy recently joined Murray Street Medical, in August 2019. Dr Rakhawy graduated in 1982 from the Cairo University in Egypt. He has been practicing in Australia for more than 10 years now with a special interest in chronic disease, diabetes management, mental health and family healthcare.

Dr Rakhawy is available Monday to Friday from 8:30am – 5:30pm and alternating Saturdays.


Dr Dean Kim (Male GP)
Qualifications - MBBS

Dr Kim is new to Murray Street Medical, previously working in GP Access Afterhours and CHG Elizabeth. He is very excited to move into day-time general practice, but is unsure yet what he enjoys most about it. Dr Kim prides himself on building long term relationships with his patients to ensure the best quality ongoing care and has extra experience with Workcover cases.

​Dr Kim works Monday to Friday from 8:30am - 5pm.
